This video answers the question: Can I offer an update on the Madeleine McCann case in light of Christian Brueckner being named a suspect by German investigators?

Never leave your child where you wouldn’t leave a million dollars. A child is priceless. Would the parents have left a million dollars in an unlocked hotel room?

Who tf leaves two two year olds and a three year old child in an apartment alone with the door unlocked. That has always baffled me and continues to baffle me.

The parents piss me off. What are they thinking, leaving small children alone? That’s not just stupid, it’s negligent.

So silly for that man to say it’s absurd to think two doctors could do this. As if purely because they are doctors they are above such actions. Doctors are just people too you know!

This is complete Crap. The McCaan’s are as guilty as can be.

The patio door was open and the mother thinks that Madeleine was abducted through the window?

Elena Diaz

Two doors opened and this supposed kidnapper choosed the window? Well that’s superb British logic, dear Watson!

rosie zammit

i am a parent and a grand parent .. and the parents are to blame .. 2 doctors and their well off friends and you are telling they could not afford a baby sitter….So many things can go wrong in a very little time … a child chokes and child walks out a child is in pain … i am sorry but if they were not doctors and if they were of a lower class they would have had their other children taken from them. all they needed to do was to pay a baby sitter . so yes the parents are to blame no matter what happened that night . They are the parents and they were responsible for the well being of their child .

Adam Jones

Love how you can blame the parents before the 10 minute mark, if you are gonna go out either take you very young children with you, don’t go out late at night or if you are dull enough to not do either of those things at least have the capacity to lock the place up. So then if someone was really trying to ‘abduct’ your children they would have to actually break in rather then just open a window. This whole case is a joke, the parents should be charged with neglect of care for the children and at which point they would admit what happened anyway.

Just Ice

The parents accidentally killed Madeleine and got rid of their body to save their own asses !

The UK had no right to get involved as it wasn’t within their jurisdiction. Friends in high places.

Typical one-sided media crap. Funny how Panorama have made the only honest bloke on the case (Mr. Amaral) the villain in this joke of a documentry. He only ever presented the evidence, both hard and circumstancial, and it all pointed back at the McCanns. Because of this he was thrown off the case and made to look like the bad guy.

ChilloutCupid

I still can’t understand how the McCann’s could have returned to the UK without Madeline. I would have wanted to remain in Portugal so as to be able feel her presence and be near to where she went missing.

ANNETTE GRAY

I’ll tell you one thing that didn’t happen to Madeleine – ABDUCTION

ruth bashford

“Remember that sighting by the Smith family, the one originally mistaken for Gerry McCann.” Martin Smith has NOT changed his mind about being 60-80% sure the man he saw was Gerry McCann. There are NO independent witnesses that put Gerry McCann in the Tapas bar at that time.

british police covered it up, they came into Portugal and undermined their investigation to protect white upper-middle class Kate and gerry . only they know what truly happened to Madeline mccan, but they’re in too deep now. they’ll never say what truly happened.

JAYZEUS

Gerry and Kate McCann covered up the accidental death of Madeline as they were drugging her to enable their piss ups. Knowing autopsy would be swift and would show tranquilizers, they also knew this equals culpable death, lost professions, struck off, prison and probably would have the twins taken from them – they knew this and binned her body. This is the truth of what happened in the Algarve and it’s about to be made public.

The clincher for me was when they left their other children in the same hotel whilst they went to see the pope in Rome. After one child has been taken what parent would let their other children out of their sight let alone leave them with someone while they went to another country.

I just don’t get their lack of emotion?

Mateja Kočevar

I find it really disturbing that when they talk about Maddie sightings Kate explains that they don’t become emotional about it. If Maddie was really taken and if someone would say they’re 100% positive that it is her how could she stay so calm and collected? Even if it is the case of mistaken identity, I, as a mother would be fullfilled with hope of finding my daughter. Even if there is 1000 fake sightings there is still a chance that 1500 sighting would bring Maddie home- unless she is dead and they know that, so all that sightings doesn’t spark any emotion, because they already know where their daughter is… And when a interwiever asks the question about sightings 8:00 Gerrard smiles… What does he smile about?! Very very strange and suspicious…

Em Lew

The thing about Gerry and his ‘duping delight’ is that he can’t control it. It’s almost as if he’s in a trance, really enjoying what he has got away with. Then he realises it probably looks ‘wrong’ to the viewers and he looks down and quickly changes his expression. He does something similar in an interview with Jeremy Paxman. He is asked something about controlling the media for their gain, which Gerry obviously does not like one bit. He stares at Paxman for quite a while as if ‘sizing him up’, transfixed and then seems to realise what he is doing. It’s like the actions of a narcissist or sociopath who knows what ‘normal’ responses should look like but has to remind themselves of.

Louisette

There pants are on fire. I would be distraught 😩 for years to not know. They don’t even care to seem sincere full of shit, and it’s the father trust me

How can a parent leave their child unprotected and in a room on there own and go out to dinner?…..If I don’t know where my children are for more than a minute a sense of dread and fear floods through me…it’s a basic parental instinct ,they don’t seem to display this emotion which makes me suspicious of how they really feel…

7 The True Story of Madeleine McCann -1

Gepubliceerd op 5 jul. 2015

The Madeleine McCann disappearance has become one of the most enduring mysteries of our time. It has generated thousands of front page headlines in the UK press. Despite the unprecedented coverage, few people have any detailed understanding of the circumstantial and physical evidence of the case. The mainstream media has been used to create diversion and confusion over what really happened, rather than inform their readers about the facts. The first film in this series, entitled ‘The Initial Storm’ examines in a level of detail never described before in any TV documentary, the evidence of the first night when Madeleine is alleged to have disappeared. The second film, ‘Dogs Don’t Lie’, reports on the compelling findings of one of the worlds top sniffer dog handlers, Martin Grime, whose two dogs searched for scent at key locations in Praia Da Luz. The third film exposes the so called private investigations instigated by the McCanns, details of which have never been aired on TV before. We reveal evidence and detailed testimony about the government agencies who were claiming to be searching for Madeleine or helping the McCanns, but was this really their agenda? Our four documentaries represent the most detailed film based analysis of the Madeleine McCann story, leaving the viewer with an understanding of the comprehensive establishment led cover up, and offer suggestions as to what all the evidence really points to. — See http://www.richplanet.net/ for more information.

8 Your body language may shape who you are | Amy Cuddy

Body language affects how others see us, but it may also change how we see ourselves. Social psychologist Amy Cuddy argues that “power posing” — standing in a posture of confidence, even when we don’t feel confident — can boost feelings of confidence, and might have an impact on our chances for success. (Note: Some of the findings presented in this talk have been referenced in an ongoing debate among social scientists about robustness and reproducibility. Read Amy Cuddy’s response here: http://ideas.ted.com/inside-the-debat…)

TED, this is messed up that you don’t have any warnings or updates or anything on this video, warning that this is junk science. Large-scale, rigorous studies have been set up to replicate/ confirm the results of Amy Cuddy’s experiment, and their findings were totally different! Basically, Amy Cuddy and her team were “p-hacking” – manipulating the data they got until the experiment gave them the results that they wanted it to. There is a lot written about this and it’s really messed up that TED is still selling this snake oil to people.

As someone who really believed in this advice and tried to use it for my own good, I have to say that this advice did more harm to me than good. Faking only temporarily got things done for me, but it also caused me to delay addressing the true mental health issues that were working against me in the first place. For me, being as honest as possible with myself about my true feelings and intentions is what has made me more confident because I finally understood myself and that understanding made me feel loved. The “fake it till you make it” advice is like telling an anorexic person to just fake that they don’t have an eating disorder and to eat a healthy diet with enough calories. While following that advice might help them by giving them good nutrition, it doesn’t directly address the mental health issues that contributed to that eating disorder and might even hurt them because faking may cause their mind to reject the truth. I’m not here to hate on those for whom Amy Cudy’s advice worked, but I also want people to know that it is not the only truth that exists.

It is indeed a very inspirational speech. Nonetheless the effect of embodied power poses are shown to be false by many other experiments. Even one of the scholar Amy collaborated with on her experiment presented during the speech sent out an open letter stating a change of mind and discouraging others of further studying; inasmuch as the effect is likely non-existing. Reference: Ranehill, E. 2014; Simmons, J. & Simonsohn, U. 2015; Garrison, Katie E. 2016; Carney, Dana 2016. So for those who felt more powerful after power posing is likely just a placebo effect. I however do agree with her point on fake it until you become it. Always be self-encouraged to act is nice way to succeed. Overall, it is good enough as a motivational speech; science wise, probably not. Ironic considering for one giving it being a scientist (social psychologist) /professor (assistant).

Who are Madeleine McCann’s parents Kate and Gerry?

Kate and Gerry, were both born in 1968 and live in Rothley, Leicestershire. They are Roman Catholics. Kate Healy is from Huyton, near Liverpool and graduated in 1992 with a degree in medicine from the University of Dundee.

Gerald Patrick McCann was born in Glasgow and graduated from the University of Glasgow with a BSc in physiology/sports science in 1989. In 1992 he qualified in medicine and in 2002 obtained his MD.

Since 2005 he has been a consultant cardiologist at Glenfield Hospital, Leicester.

The McCanns met in 1993 in Glasgow and were married five years later.

How many other children do Kate and Gerry have?
The McCanns also have twins, a boy and girl called Amelie and Sean, who were born in February 2005 and are now 13.

Kate told The Sun Maddie’s siblings are told everything about the case and any developments in the search.

She said: “The twins are doing really well.

“They’ve grown up essentially without Madeleine, knowing their sister is missing and they want her back.

“They are up to date, they know everything, they know if we are meeting police.

“There is nothing kept from them.”

Are Kate and Gerry both still doctors?

After graduation Kate moved briefly into obstetrics and gynaecology, then anaesthesiology, and finally general practice.

She quit her job as a GP to devote her life to working for children’s charities.

Kate never returned to her part-time job as a locum after daughter Madeleine’s disappearance and handed in her notice in 2008.

Maddie’s dad is a renowned consultant cardiologist and a professor of cardiac imagery.

Professor McCann, as he is now titled, prides himself on having “established a national and growing international reputation as an expert in Cardiac MRI (magnetic reasoning imaging)” – or scanning.

When Kate McCann discovered Madeleine was gone, she raised the alarm. Portugeuse authorities began conducting one of the most highly publicized missing persons investigations in history.

The McCann’s: Embedded Confessions. – Richard D. Hall with Professional Statement Analyst Peter Hyatt.

Richard D.Hall is an independent television producer, researcher, and documentary film maker. He presents us with this new film concerning the disappearance of Madeleine McCann and the subsequent behaviour of her parents, Gerry and Kate McCann.

” In November 2016 I travelled to the United States to meet and interview Peter Hyatt. Peter is a highly respected expert in statement analysis and in his work he teaches other professionals and assists law enforcement on criminal cases. When we speak, the process of constructing sentences in our mind involves deciding which tense to use, which words to select from our vocabulary and what order to put them in. This mental process all happens in a fraction of a second. If somebody is constructing sentences from their experiential memory, ie, recalling something real that actually happened to them, the process of word selection follows particular patterns and characteristics, which can be easily identified by a trained statement analyst. If however a person is fabricating and being untruthful when they speak, the natural cognitive process of choosing and ordering words is interrupted, because the mind must censor and insert artificial information in a very short time period. This means the language of somebody who is fabricating is characteristically different and can be picked up by a trained analyst like Peter Hyatt. He has analysed in depth an interview that Kate and Gerry McCann gave in 2011 and throughout the entire interview both Kate and Gerry it appears show signs of deception. Not only that, Peter determines from their language what he believes to be what it is they are concealing. The conclusions are shocking. ” – Richard D. Hall

It’s a heartbreaking case that still puzzles investigators around the world: the disappearance of 3-year-old Madeleine McCann. While on vacation with her family in Praia da Luz, Portugal nearly 12 years ago, the toddler went missing from her family’s hotel room. Since then, her parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, have searched for their daughter in vain. Now, a new Netflix documentary aims to re-examine the case, but the McCann family said it could hinder the ongoing investigation into her disappearance.

When the Portuguese Police Files were released in July 2008 the McCanns ‘Arguido’ (suspect) status was lifted and the case was shelved, pending new evidence, and the case could be reopened with the McCanns Arguido (suspect) status reinstated.

The Public Prosecutor could have proclaimed their innocence. He did not use that option. Why?

Does this video give credibility to the suggestion that the McCann’s may be involved in Madeleine’s disappearance as there is not a shred of evidence to suggest there was an abduction.

Many newspapers based their headlines on some of the details featured in this video.

Welcome to the Armchair Detective Channel.

On April 28th 2007 Kate and Gerry McCann left the UK with their daughter Madeleine and 2 year old twins.
In Praia da Luz in Portugal, the family were staying in a ground floor apartment located in a large resort found through a local travel agency.
The apartment was owned by a retired teacher from Liverpool.
Though they had their own private apartment the Mccanns were vacationing with a group of 7 friends as well as their respective children.
The group consisted of Jane Tanner and her partner Russell O’Brien, Matthew and Rachel Oldfield, Fiona and David Payne, and Fionas mother Dianne Webster.
Throughout the trip they would often put their little ones to bed before meeting for food and drinks at the local Tapas restaurant. As a result of this the media later referred to them as the Tapas Seven.
In retrospect Kate and Gerry noticed some strange occurrences on the morning of Madeleines disappearance. On the morning of May 3rd Madeleine asked them why didn’t them come when her brother and Madeleine were crying last night? They wondered what would of made them both cry that night.

Today is the 13th anniversary of the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. After a day at the pool the family returned to the apartment and the children went to sleep around
Madeleine was last seen wearing pink and white Eeyore pyjamas.
Kate and Gerry left the apartment about a hour later to meet the Tapas seven at their usual restaurant. They locked the front door but left the sliding doors unlocked so they could easily stop by and check on the children.
After 9pm Gerry stopped by and checked on the children. He did notice the bedroom door was slightly open, he had closed it when they left earlier on. He closed the door once again and left for the restaurant.
As Gerry made his way back he passed Jane Tanner, who allegedly passed Gerry talking to an acquaintance on the way back.
About half a hour later Kate was going to check, when Matthew Oldfield offered to stop by their apartment before checking on his own, when he got there he noticed the bedroom door was open, but didn’t go further inside. He said nothing seemed amiss.
At 10pm, Kate decided to do the next check for herself. She entered through the patio doors and saw the bedroom door was open. The door then reportedly slammed shut due to a draft. As she entered the room she saw the bedroom window was also open and that Madeleine was gone. She ran back to the restaurant screaming “Madeleines gone someone’s taken her!” Gerry told Matthew to call the police which he did from the hotels reception desk. The resorts staff and many guests then began searching for Madeleine.

Madeleine Beth McCann ‘born 12 May 2003′ disappeared on the evening of 3 May 2007 from her bed in a holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, in Portugal’s Algarve region. Sadly Madeleine remains missing to this very day.

Following on from his earlier series of films about the Madeleine McCann mystery, Richard D. Hall examines in a level of detail never covered before in any TV documentary, the claims that Madeleine was abducted. Numerous sightings of a man were reported to the police on different dates following the disappearance. This film examines the credibility of these sightings by looking at police witness statements, media reports and other evidence.

After a thorough and extensive examination of all this evidence, the most likely conclusion is laid bare for all to see. Once you have watched the documentary, your perception of mainstream media and establishment groups such as The BBC, The Cabinet Office, Scotland Yard and British Intelligence may well need a dramatic adjustment.
