7 The True Story of Madeleine McCann -1
Back to menu
The Madeleine McCann disappearance has become one of the most enduring mysteries of our time. It has generated thousands of front page headlines in the UK press. Despite the unprecedented coverage, few people have any detailed understanding of the circumstantial and physical evidence of the case. The mainstream media has been used to create diversion and confusion over what really happened, rather than inform their readers about the facts. The first film in this series, entitled ‘The Initial Storm’ examines in a level of detail never described before in any TV documentary, the evidence of the first night when Madeleine is alleged to have disappeared. The second film, ‘Dogs Don’t Lie’, reports on the compelling findings of one of the worlds top sniffer dog handlers, Martin Grime, whose two dogs searched for scent at key locations in Praia Da Luz. The third film exposes the so called private investigations instigated by the McCanns, details of which have never been aired on TV before. We reveal evidence and detailed testimony about the government agencies who were claiming to be searching for Madeleine or helping the McCanns, but was this really their agenda? Our four documentaries represent the most detailed film based analysis of the Madeleine McCann story, leaving the viewer with an understanding of the comprehensive establishment led cover up, and offer suggestions as to what all the evidence really points to. — See http://www.richplanet.net/ for more information.

Body language affects how others see us, but it may also change how we see ourselves. Social psychologist Amy Cuddy argues that “power posing” — standing in a posture of confidence, even when we don’t feel confident — can boost feelings of confidence, and might have an impact on our chances for success. Gerald Patrick McCann was born in Glasgow and graduated from the University of Glasgow with a BSc in physiology/sports science in 1989. In 1992 he qualified in medicine and in 2002 obtained his MD.

The McCanns also have twins, a boy and girl called Amelie and Sean, who were born in February 2005 and are now 13.
Kate told The Sun Maddie’s siblings are told everything about the case and any developments in the search.
She said: “The twins are doing really well.
“They’ve grown up essentially without Madeleine, knowing their sister is missing and they want her back.
“They are up to date, they know everything, they know if we are meeting police.
“There is nothing kept from them.”
Are Kate and Gerry both still doctors?
After graduation Kate moved briefly into obstetrics and gynaecology, then anaesthesiology, and finally general practice.
She quit her job as a GP to devote her life to working for children’s charities.
Kate never returned to her part-time job as a locum after daughter Madeleine’s disappearance and handed in her notice in 2008.

On May 3, 2007, four-year-old Madeleine McCann went missing while on vacation with her family in Portugal. At the time of her disappearance, her parents—Kate and Gerry McCann—were dining just 60 yards away from Madeleine’s bedroom.
When Kate McCann discovered Madeleine was gone, she raised the alarm. Portugeuse authorities began conducting one of the most highly publicized missing persons investigations in history.
As the weeks dragged on, the McCanns become worried that not enough was being done to find Madeleine abd they looked for outside help. The Missing Pieces looks at two of the McCanns’ attempts to find their daughter using unorthodox methods.

The McCann’s: Embedded Confessions. – Richard D. Hall with Professional Statement Analyst Peter Hyatt.
Richard D.Hall is an independent television producer, researcher, and documentary film maker. He presents us with this new film concerning the disappearance of Madeleine McCann and the subsequent behaviour of her parents, Gerry and Kate McCann.
” In November 2016 I travelled to the United States to meet and interview Peter Hyatt. Peter is a highly respected expert in statement analysis and in his work he teaches other professionals and assists law enforcement on criminal cases. When we speak, the process of constructing sentences in our mind involves deciding which tense to use, which words to select from our vocabulary and what order to put them in. This mental process all happens in a fraction of a second. If somebody is constructing sentences from their experiential memory, ie, recalling something real that actually happened to them, the process of word selection follows particular patterns and characteristics, which can be easily identified by a trained statement analyst. If however a person is fabricating and being untruthful when they speak, the natural cognitive process of choosing and ordering words is interrupted, because the mind must censor and insert artificial information in a very short time period. This means the language of somebody who is fabricating is characteristically different and can be picked up by a trained analyst like Peter Hyatt. He has analysed in depth an interview that Kate and Gerry McCann gave in 2011 and throughout the entire interview both Kate and Gerry it appears show signs of deception. Not only that, Peter determines from their language what he believes to be what it is they are concealing. The conclusions are shocking. ” – Richard D. Hall

Now, a new Netflix documentary aims to re-examine the case, but the McCann family said it could hinder the ongoing investigation into her disappearance.

Is It Possible McCanns Are Involved? Sky News Documentary Dec 24th 2007
When the Portuguese Police Files were released in July 2008 the McCanns ‘Arguido’ (suspect) status was lifted and the case was shelved, pending new evidence, and the case could be reopened with the McCanns Arguido (suspect) status reinstated.
The Public Prosecutor could have proclaimed their innocence. He did not use that option. Why?
Does this video give credibility to the suggestion that the McCann’s may be involved in Madeleine’s disappearance as there is not a shred of evidence to suggest there was an abduction.
Many newspapers based their headlines on some of the details featured in this video.

Welcome to the Armchair Detective Channel.
On April 28th 2007 Kate and Gerry McCann left the UK with their daughter Madeleine and 2 year old twins.
In Praia da Luz in Portugal, the family were staying in a ground floor apartment located in a large resort found through a local travel agency.
The apartment was owned by a retired teacher from Liverpool.
Though they had their own private apartment the Mccanns were vacationing with a group of 7 friends as well as their respective children.
The group consisted of Jane Tanner and her partner Russell O’Brien, Matthew and Rachel Oldfield, Fiona and David Payne, and Fionas mother Dianne Webster.
Throughout the trip they would often put their little ones to bed before meeting for food and drinks at the local Tapas restaurant. As a result of this the media later referred to them as the Tapas Seven.
In retrospect Kate and Gerry noticed some strange occurrences on the morning of Madeleines disappearance. On the morning of May 3rd Madeleine asked them why didn’t them come when her brother and Madeleine were crying last night? They wondered what would of made them both cry that night.
Today is the 13th anniversary of the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. After a day at the pool the family returned to the apartment and the children went to sleep around
Madeleine was last seen wearing pink and white Eeyore pyjamas.
Kate and Gerry left the apartment about a hour later to meet the Tapas seven at their usual restaurant. They locked the front door but left the sliding doors unlocked so they could easily stop by and check on the children.
After 9pm Gerry stopped by and checked on the children. He did notice the bedroom door was slightly open, he had closed it when they left earlier on. He closed the door once again and left for the restaurant.
As Gerry made his way back he passed Jane Tanner, who allegedly passed Gerry talking to an acquaintance on the way back.
About half a hour later Kate was going to check, when Matthew Oldfield offered to stop by their apartment before checking on his own, when he got there he noticed the bedroom door was open, but didn’t go further inside. He said nothing seemed amiss.
At 10pm, Kate decided to do the next check for herself. She entered through the patio doors and saw the bedroom door was open. The door then reportedly slammed shut due to a draft. As she entered the room she saw the bedroom window was also open and that Madeleine was gone. She ran back to the restaurant screaming “Madeleines gone someone’s taken her!” Gerry told Matthew to call the police which he did from the hotels reception desk. The resorts staff and many guests then began searching for Madeleine.

Madeleine Beth McCann ‘born 12 May 2003′ disappeared on the evening of 3 May 2007 from her bed in a holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, in Portugal’s Algarve region. Sadly Madeleine remains missing to this very day.
Following on from his earlier series of films about the Madeleine McCann mystery, Richard D. Hall examines in a level of detail never covered before in any TV documentary, the claims that Madeleine was abducted. Numerous sightings of a man were reported to the police on different dates following the disappearance. This film examines the credibility of these sightings by looking at police witness statements, media reports and other evidence.
After a thorough and extensive examination of all this evidence, the most likely conclusion is laid bare for all to see. Once you have watched the documentary, your perception of mainstream media and establishment groups such as The BBC, The Cabinet Office, Scotland Yard and British Intelligence may well need a dramatic adjustment.
