J Gilbert's I love the environment. The vibe is old school cool and you can smell the word from the wood-burning grill. It feels like a cozy ski resort steakhouse. The service is generally quite good. They definitely pride themselves in customer service, and -- even in this time of staff shortages -- it shows. The food can vary: J. Gilbert's is delicious but the service is poor. Some friends and I dined on a Tuesday night and thankfully we had reservations because the parking lot, which looked spacious on google street view, was packed at 6pm.
