On Archer, I have completed 80% of the questions and scored 5 passing score on their readiness exams (2 very high and 3 highs). I have also done their CAT exam and scored a passing grade 3 times in a row. Archer states that 4 high scores in a row is a 99% chance of passing and Uworld states 57% on the qbank is 95% chance of passing.

When I sat for my NCLEX, it felt like I was doing another archer assessment. Didn’t feel too bad since there was a sense of familiarity. My group used it individually. IMO archer qbank is good for the sake of getting into the rhythm of testing with the broad Qs. Uworld, archer videos, and simple nursing were great.
People say archers rationales suck. However they only suck with the qbank questions. If you review your assessment/test the rationales are great. I did not use the rationales to learn, I used simple nursing. I also had Uworld but I only used it for the 1 assessment and like 400 questions. I prefer archer over uworld.

After having studied uworld for 2 weeks by this time, archer made a lot more sense and I did a lot better. The actual test was set up exactly like archer. As far as the material, uworld gives MUCH better rationales. I’ve used UWorld, Archer, and Bootcamp. Uworld is good for content, Bootcamp is good for understanding NGN questions, and Archer is worded similarly to the NCLEX. Also, Archer has unlimited assessments and starts at $59 for a month if you just purchase the qbank with assessments. Archer does have a demo mode if you want to see how it is. Same for me. I had above average for uworld then when i used archer i was feeling that i might be lacking with some content knowledge, scared me. But then when i started listening to nclex crusade on how to approach a question for nclex i started answering better for archer. I used Kaplan and thought it was a horrible predictor of what you really know. It’s not similar to the NCLEX either. I used Uworld and that was great but unfortunately still haven’t passed. The questions are vague (like archer) but the question itself is hard (like wtf) I studied so much but most of the things I studied was not even there.
